About

Originally from Guernsey, Darius now resides in West Sussex.
His artwork draws influence from a wide range of artists, from Sean Scully to Chris Guest. Any art that uses life, light, colour and movement.

Darius developed a passion for art at school, starting with airbrushing images onto student’s motorcycle tanks and helmets.
On leaving school he worked for Benson and Hedges in their art and advertising department.

Darius really enjoyed the experience of appearing on Channel 4’s Watercolour Challenge Programme, culminating in an exhibition at London’s Mall Galleries.
Now working part-time as an airline pilot for EasyJet, the rest of his time is taken painting for exhibitions and the challenge of many different commission works.
EasyJet asked Darius to create a painting for the launch of their flagship A321 aircraft. This was auctioned for the benefit of UNICEF and was featured in the EasyJet inflight “Traveller” magazine.
